CELIA KOLLIE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION FOR CHILDREN

Celia Kollie Memorial Foundation For Children

A Foundation that seeks to assist less fortunate children...!

ABOUT US

The Celia Kollie Memorial Foundation for Children (CKMFC) was organized in memory of Celia Kollie, a young promising Liberian girl who immigrated with her parents to the United States.

At a very young age, Celia aspired to become a medical doctor. As she grew up, her goal became more specific. She dreamed of being a pediatrician with the hope of returning to Liberia to help positively affect the lives of poverty-stricken children.

After graduating from Hazelwood West High school, she attended St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley, where she studied Biology with an emphasis on Chemistry.

Celia was a victim of gun violence and was murdered on April 29, 2019.  She was an easy and obedient Christian young girl with a heart of love fixated on little children. The mind and ambition Celia had to assist children is what inspired us to start a foundation to help children in need.

Help us positively impact the lives of children for the future…!

WHAT WE DO

EDUCATION

The most powerful weapon you can possibly have, and with it, you can make all your dreams come true. It changes everything including the world. Some children do not have the means of getting this POWERFUL WEAPON. Celia Kollie Memorial Foundation for Children seeks to give this means to the impoverished children.

HEALTH CARE

Having quality health care allows you to do all you can to pursue your dreams in life. There are many kids who don’t have quality health care because their parents cannot afford the cost associated with health care. The Celia Kollie Memorial Foundation for Children wants to see all children healthy.

PHYSICAL NEEDS

There are many kids who don’t know the meaning of breakfast. They go to school hungry, feeling depressed and unable to respond to what is being taught. Food and clothing are basic needs every child deserves. Celia Kollie Memorial Foundation for Children wants to see every child happy.

GOSPEL

Our dedication is in providing every child with the chance to participate in a thriving church community and in sharing the hope that comes from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have teamed up with church planters at each of our schools to establish a church there.

your donation does much

STATEMENT OF SUPPORT

As a church body, we at Hazelwood Baptist Church are excited to partner with the Celia Kollie Memorial Foundation!  We deeply love the Kollie family, who are beloved brothers and sisters in our church.  We are blessed to participate together in mission work in Liberia.  Our desire is to serve others in a practical way and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Liberia.  We fondly remember Celia and her love for Jesus!  We are looking forward to seeing how God will work through the foundation, for His glory!

Meeting Jallah and learning about the Celia Kollie Memorial Foundation (CKMF) has been one of my great joys in pastoring Hazelwood Baptist Church. Every pastor on the planet prays for their people to answer God’s call to work the fields and reap the harvest (Luke 10:2). And he drips with the vision and mission of CKMF everywhere he goes! It’s a joy to partner with him in doing everything we can to see boys and girls come to Jesus (Luke 10:15).”
